How To Edit A Procurement

How To Edit A Procurement

  1. Requiring only simple inputs to begin generating results, the Muir Platform was designed to enable users to refine reports over time. Starting with high quality estimates, users can easily update reports as new data becomes available.
  2. There are four categories that can be edited: Procurement Information; Product and Sourcing; Manufacturing Energy; and Transportation.
  3. In Procurement Information, users can edit core elements of the product’s attributes, such as the product name and description, source or destination locations, and product mass.
  4. In Product and Sourcing, Muir’s predictions for the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Sourcing Locations are automatically populated. Users can easily refine assumptions, based on updated information to the product’s BOM or the upstream sourcing locations.
  5. In Manufacturing Energy, users can provide different sources of primary data, including a product’s Emission Factor, energy inputs by product or factory-level allocation, and even review the assumed manufacturing steps required to produce the product.
  6. In Transportation, Muir provides each leg of the product’s transportation, from source to destination location. Users can adjust the transport routes, and current options include road, rail, air, and sea.
