Product Tree Exploration

  1. Bill of Materials, BoMs, have become disparate databases with limited useful data. Muir's Product Tree allows users to easily scale through a product's synthetic or real BoM and readily determine manufacturing steps, upstream materials, sourcing, cost impact and emissions of any Tier n component. Users can now readily understand and find impact opportunities for any product's material composition.
  2. Within the Product Tree, users can fly through the product's BoM. A clear multi-tier visualization allows you to understand parent/child dependencies and find the nodes or assembly of interest.
  3. Click on a node to open deeper level meta data on the product. This spans design considerations such as mass, manufacturing steps and upstream materials, to strategic insights such as should-cost, emissions and country of origin.
  4. Dive deeper into Tier n+ components within the tree to continue exploring high impact components. Find oppportunities across design and procurment to mitigate supply chain risk, reduce cost and eliminate high emission drivers of your products.
